We were delighted to welcome Sioned McGirr and Eimear Dunne to our school to collect a large selection of our old reading books 📚💛
These books are now set to begin an incredible journey to Zambia this June, where they will support the work of Spirit of Paul McGirr in building a library at The Tyrone Secondary School.
It is wonderful to know that books once enjoyed by our pupils will now help children in another part of the world to develop a love of reading, learning and imagination 🌍✨
A big thank you to Sioned and Eimear, and to everyone involved in organising this fantastic initiative — we are proud to play a small part in something so meaningful.
