P1/2 boys and girls had a fantastic day today during their first shared education session of the year. We began by talking about what observations are and how to look carefully at the world around us. We then visited St Mary’s Chapel, where the children made lots of outdoor observations, spotting different shapes, colours, patterns and materials. After returning to school, we came together to share, discuss and draw what we had seen. After lunch, we started to create heart collages which we will finish during our next shared education session in Ballytrea.
