Leavers Assembly 2026
It was an emotional week as we said farewell to the Class of 2026. During yesterday’s Leavers’ Assembly, pupils reflected on their many achievements — academic, sporting, and personal — from the past seven years.
Wherever life may take them, we hope they carry with them the strong friendships, values, and personal qualities they have developed during their time at St. Mary’s. We also hope they look back on their years here with fondness and pride.
During the assembly, we were privileged to be joined by Al and Jonathan Newell, the husband and son of our beloved colleague, Martina. In her memory, they presented the “Martina Newell Cup” to Alice Martin, who was chosen by her peers for best demonstrating the qualities of friendship, compassion, and the values of our school that were so dear to Martina’s heart.
Everyone at St. Mary’s is immensely proud of each and every one of our Primary 7's, and we wish them success, good health, and happiness as they continue on the next stage of their educational journey.
