February in P3/4

5th Mar 2026

February has been an extremely busy month for us but we also have had lots and lots of fun. Cahir has been teaching us loads of new skills and games in PE. We had an amazing time when our grandparents came to school to help us make St. Brigid’s crosses. We worked really hard in numeracy on topics like weight and symmetry. We also have been developing lots of ICT skills by using Just 2 Easy - it’s great fun but we have to be great listeners and follow the instructions carefully. As usual Donal came in every Friday to teach the tin whistle.  We have been working closely with our friends from Ballytrea, finding out about each other, while we created beautiful mosaic pictures. Finally it was time for our assembly at the end of the month. It was about being honest. Our families came to watch us and we hope they were as proud of us as we were of ourselves.
We look forward to lots more learning in March.
